A startup team had a creative project idea, a way of disrupting a traditional industry by serving certain stakeholder focus groups in a smarter way. The idea had already reached initial positive feedback from an international investor, but the team needed help to review and model the business viability, scalability and financial targets of the project.
Feed’s role was to bring in leading technology and design capabilities, and the client team had a strong industry substance background. Taival was acting in a role of a representative of the investor: Taival took care that the business set-up, administration and finance related questions were analyzed and answered thoroughly.
For the business modeling purposes Taival brought in its toolset for stakeholder value creation and capture analysis, accompanied by more traditional financial and risk analysis methods. Feed brought in the needed technology and design thinking for understanding how a revolutionary digital platform business is wisely built.
The close and iterative hands-on cooperation between customer, Feed and Taival team was efficient and successful. The two-month project resulted not only with a robust and data-based business model, but also with a positive investment decision for the project.
