Splended, a Fusion company dedicated to fostering the professional growth of digital experts through relevant, timely, and applicable pro-to-pro training, has partnered with other companies within the ecosystem, Coventures, GOODIN, and Hidden Trail, to deliver dynamic and interactive workshops to empower the tech talent at S-Pankki.
Splended, a company focused on driving professional development and continuous learning, joined forces with Coventures, GOODIN, and Hidden Trail to bring dynamic and interactive workshops to the tech talent at S-Pankki. These workshops, each lasting three engaging hours, focused on crucial topics such as hybrid communication, agile learning, quality assurance and product management.
The workshops proved to be engaging, prompting a host of questions and feelings. As one participant expressed,
“Interesting, raised many questions and emotions. Thank you very much.”
They also fostered a safe environment for open discussions and enabled participants to connect with colleagues, even those they hadn’t spoken to in person before, as observed by another participant:
“Good and challenging topics that should be contemplated more often in daily life. It felt safe to share my thoughts openly with colleagues. I also got to talk to people I hadn’t spoken to in person before.”
Some participants admitted they didn’t know what to expect from the training but were positively surprised. They discovered the value of stepping out of their comfort zones for personal growth, with one participant sharing,
“I didn’t know what to expect from the training. However, I was positively surprised because I had to step out of my comfort zone in discussions. Some questions were a bit challenging to approach, but it felt good to reflect on these matters :)”
The workshop on quality assurance, led by Pekka Marjamäki from Hidden Trail, had a thought-provoking impact, offering fresh perspectives on modern and practical approaches to quality assurance. The workshop focussed on perceiving quality as being contextual, requiring an intelligent and efficient focus. As one participant noted, “I gained fresh perspectives; thank you.”
Ira Wichmann from Coventures led a workshop on product management which opened the participants’ eyes to how vast the topic actually is. They reported having “gained ideas and tools” on how they could implement product thinking into their own work. In particular, they commented on the need to have visibility into what happens in the customer experience.
Kira Sjöberg from GOODIN facilitated an interactive workshop on how to navigate leadership in hybrid teams. She introduced a ‘fishbowl’ activity where participants, divided into two circles, developed ideas on how to boost belonging, communication and collaboration in the hybrid world of work. Kira received raving feedback from the participants who continued the discussion even after the workshop.
Marjut Sadeharju from Splended delivered a workshop on agile learning and future success. Self-reflection emerged as a recurring theme throughout this workshop, with one attendee describing it as a “wonderful task.” They continued, “The training was much needed.” The workshops were designed to be thought-provoking and succeeded in making participants think deeply about their careers, as one participant succinctly put it, “A great workshop that made me think!”
Overall, the quality of content proved useful based on the feedback received. Participants noted that the content consistently encouraged critical thinking and was highly thought-provoking. The session provided insights for personal development and readiness for unexpected changes. As one participant noted that the workshop gave good insights on how to develop yourself and prepare for situations if life brings unexpected changes.
The engaging and professional approach of this workshop was genuinely enjoyed by the participants. One participant commented that it was a pleasant training experience and expressed satisfaction with the instructor’s professionalism.
The desire for further learning opportunities was evident, as one participant wished for “more time” to gain even more from our workshops. Numerous participants found the workshops to be valuable for their career development, acknowledging their role in igniting introspection and deep thought. One participant described the workshop as a valuable reflective experience that triggered profound considerations about their career path.
